I have created this blog in hopes that someone, anyone really, would want to read my thoughts and opinions of everything I encounter in the crazy adventures that I know as my life. I do not bull shit. I like to tell it how it is whether people particularly like it or not. I’m not what people ever think I am and I’m never the same thing twice. I find myself more headstrong and brave then ever before and constantly willing to beat the odds. So, for those few who do read this – here it is, enjoy!

This is me! Nice to meet all of you by the way. I am married to the man of my dreams and have been for almost six years now (though the hubs swears it feels longer). We have a beautiful daughter who keeps me on my toes. I recently graduated from Kettering College of Medical arts with a Bachelor of Science in Human Biology. I now work for a global company, trying to find my niche, and own our 25-year-old family printing business. In my “spare time” I watch Law and Order: SVU, obsess over the color purple and things I can’t buy on etsy. I am a clean freak and can’t function without my planner(s). My interests are endless. I love art, books, owls, photography, knitting, cooking and as you can imagine the list goes on for days. Now, let me introduce to you the people who drive me nuts are near and dear to me.

This is the man of my dreams – Mike. He’s works full time and is going to school in hopes to become an industrial designer. He’s an incredible husband, father, supporter, friend, and companion. He’s my perfect fit. Mike is also a fabulous artist and I love to watch him work. He also enjoys listening to music, skateboarding, shoes, playing piano, soccer, bike riding, cooking, games and meeting new people. He’s the coolest person I know but shhhh!!! Don’t tell him. I don’t want him to know
And this is our rugrat – Sophia. She’s five and a bit of a diva but we love her endlessly. She started kindergarten this fall and is very excited about it. She’s an active munchkin with dreams that reach over the stars. Sophia has a love for music, dancing, art, bike riding, movies, meeting new people, soccer and cooking. She’s hands on and in to everything. She’s our little princess <3

And we can’t forget our furry family members! Kiko has been out resident cat since January 2006. He’s now the lion of the house and suffers from a “mufasa complex.” You see, Kiko thinks our house is the Circle of Life and he is Mufasa and likes to sit above everyone and look down on his “kingdom”. Other then climbing, Kiko also enjoys sleeping on the our bed when we are not home, sun bathing, sleeping on the kitchen chairs, eating, chasing insects, grooming himself and attempting to escape into the neighbors mulch beds. He was our first pet and though there are others now – he holds special place in our hearts.
Alvin is the newest member of our family who joined us in March 2009. He is a fun, playful pup who is spoiled beyond belief. He’s very brave and loves to play with Kiko. Alvin has recently discovered his voice and though he uses it wisely he’s a little guy with a big bark! He loves napping, cuddling, eating, chewing on his toys and pig tendons, riding in the car, playing fetch and licking. Alvin is 4 lbs now (after some fattening up). He’s our permanent puppy and we adore him!
So there you have it! You’ve met the family and there are so many other people I’m sure you’ll get the opportunity to meet as time goes on.
As you continue to read this blog, I’m sure you’ll see and read a little bit of everything.
Happy reading!
